In the garden at home.
I have a job to do with finance/outreach support for charities & local companies...ERDF funding etc at the University now. It's great so far! I am still working part time in the school because I would miss the pupils too much to leave... so I am gradually leaving bit by bit! I know that I wouldn't want to do teaching yet anymore.... but if I ever did it would definitely be in a specialist school. I am also doing a Play Scheme there for a month in July (alongside my university job because they are very flexible and lovely - the university that is).
So I am working at the university and a school and I still work Sundays in the library and in the vegan cafe every Saturday and I also work quite a few nights a week at a French restaurant ( example day 9-5 at the university and then 6-midnight waitressing). It is so tiring. Having five jobs is a bit rubbish. From September I will have six because I have a new job starting at the same school, but after school, doing creative afterschool club things with them! I also need to sort out my Oxfam volunteering and work experience in the Museum.
I have ''Work'' rails in my wardrobe now.... so sad!
Masters has been postponed until next September now but I am going to start applying THIS September so it is a definite. Then I can go travelling and fun things until it starts.
I am going to the circus tomorrow night, Kent to see my brother and a wedding next weekend (shopping for outfit in Manchester next week - want cream corsage bag, floaty dress, getting manicure, got lovely grey t-bar wedges). Then in July my parents are doing a house swap in the south of France for a month so I am popping out there for a week, the week before to Portsmouth to see other brother and the babies, and the weekend after France going to Port Madoc for a week and doing the play scheme and play in the park, and August is Fringe Festival (I was supposed to volunteer....but just can't face it ) and seeing my sister and then Greek Island hopping at the end of the month...................
I think that I will end this now. Life update accomplished :)
Oh oh but before I stop writing....... there is an amazing shop in Lancaster that is taking over my life - Topshop chain bikini and raybans - both brand new for £1.50 all together and a cream Topshop huge amazing Mary Poppins bag with labels - £2.00!! I don't know how they do it but I am not complaining! Should probably buy things to sell on but I always feel a bit bad doing that.

I got a 2.1 for my second year in History! One of the exams I got mixed up with another one so only started revising for it at five pm the night before but I still did okay. I am so pleased/annoyingly happy right now. I also just booked my train to London :D :D :D :D (My supervisor at work asked me to come back a day early and I just can't. Every day in London is NEEDED.)
Today has been generally wonderful day in a rather materialistic way: recieving Lush packages (thanks Sam for the SPLODGE!), the BEST penpal parcel off Bee (the teabag holder!) two dresses, a pussybow blouse and another letter from Finland. I now do not care that a customer threw a bag in my face at work and said I was stupid.
Happy ME! But boo Harry Potter isn't at the Imax cinema until August. |
